Being Tony’s personal secretary, she informs Tony on current news that directly affects the company, helps locate enemies through the database in the Stark mansion, and is also the CEO of Stark Industries. Pepper does not immediately determine that the flying crusader, Iron Man, is Tony Stark. The delay of the removal of the iron suit on Tony allows Pepper to discover that the Iron Man is Tony Stark himself.
